Website Development Phases

Posted · 2 Comments

Much of what I’m called to do is to equip the Body of Christ globally as well as locally. As a result my message is shared in weekly Training Sessions and then online. The process of creating the media for those trainings for online courses is presently in the development stage and will gain momentum very soon.

Phase 1 is was to write and get the site established. Though that is being tweaked here and there, it is has been relatively completed.

Phase 2 is to integrate email marketing and e-commerce (shopping cart) with products being added. This is where we are in development now. We’ll start using webinar and teleconference services locally soon and then begin branching out to increase participation.

Phase 3 is to add online courses, membership accounts with resource access and then finally affiliate capabilities for teaming up with others to get the word out and paying referral commissions.

Check out our new website at getfreshvision.com for all that we are developing as a local and online Training Center that will equip the nations starting right here in Huntsville, Alabama.

First off I want to say terrific blog! I had
a quick question which I’d like to ask if you don’t mind.
I was interested to know how you center yourself and clear your head
before writing. I have had a difficult time clearing my mind in getting my thoughts
out there. I truly do take pleasure in writing but it
just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are generally wasted just trying
to figure out how to begin. Any suggestions or tips?

    Thanks!

Thank you, Mona! I do several things that help me center my writing. First, I am centered on my relationship with the Lord. I pray for Him to speak to me to show me what He wants me to write and even how to say it. Second, I keep a list of ideas in my “idea bucket” as they come to me so I have ideas to pick from while being diligent with the voice of the Lord flowing through me. I’m constantly seeking clarity on my message. Third, I write on what stirs in my heart at the moment. Fourth, I write to my intended audience in my thoughts while praying for them. Lastly, I write in stages over time. I write the draft the first day without editing. The next day, I will edit and fine tune. Lastly on another day, if needed I prepare it for posting. Anywhere in the process if something is not coming together and I’m getting frustrated, I set it aside to let it rest until it speaks to me again. Happy writing!
